About Me...
I think that whenever you choose or trust someone to look after something as important as your wedding, it's lovely to know a little bit about them - and to be able to put a face to a name!

So here I am - very happily married to a Cornish German yachtsman, with a passion for all things adventurous and unconventional!; two totally gorgeous grown-up boys I am super proud of, and an exceptionally soppy yellow Labrador puppy 'Rufus' (Mr. Roo!), who is often to be found travelling with me to wedding appointments.
For 21 years I worked for the Duchy of Cornwall as a Personal Assistant, looking after and arranging hundreds of functions and events for high profile visitors and guests, including approximately 60 for His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales (before he was promoted to HM King Charles III!).
I totally loved my job, however following surgery, I needed time away from work to recuperate...and it was while I was at home recovering, that my lovely husband decided to 'pop the question'!
With huge excitement I started to plan, design and style every aspect of our wedding - what a complete joy! It was hugely time consuming but I loved every single minute, and the end result was everything we had hoped and dreamed of...the most perfect wedding day celebrating with wonderful friends and family.
Following our special day, I was totally overwhelmed by all the amazing comments I received about our decor and wedding design. So, with much love, support, and encouragement, I decided to focus on doing something new - still working on events and functions, but this time working for myself doing something I truly LOVE and have a passion for - helping other couples achieve their perfect wedding day. Hence the

was born!

Now I totally love what I do! I can put to good use a wealth of experience in planning and managing events, working with local florists, caterers and event suppliers; combined with a meticulous eye for detail and those all-important finishing touches, a complete love of colour and a flair for design.
Working alongside a fantastic team of close friends and family, with some seriously talented people who love this job just as much as I do, I feel so very lucky to have had the opportunity to start this venture and hugely privileged to work with so many lovely couples on their wedding day (not to mention some wonderful wedding suppliers too!). I am hugely proud of what we have achieved and totally delighted to be a recommend supplier for some truly amazing venues such as Kingston Maurward, Stockbridge Farm Barn and Dorset Museum.
