We are fully insured and have over 24 years experience of planning and managing high profile events, functions and weddings in Dorset, Somerset & Hampshire, working alongside local florists, caterers and event suppliers. We have an extensive catalogue of the most wonderful props & decorations, with everything from beautiful table centrepieces to bespoke welcome signs, seating plans, wedding post boxes, confetti hampers, unique doughnut walls, Prosecco wall, sweetie cart, light-up LOVE letters, a stunning floral wedding arch, flower wall, moongate, neon signs, wedding hoops and much, much more! Many of our pieces can be personalised just for you to coordinate with your chosen colour scheme or theme. Individual Item or
All-Inclusive Package Hire
Option 1 - Individual Item Hire
Items can be hired individually* offering total flexibility to choose the pieces that you love and need to fit within your wedding or special occasion budget. This means you can build your own wedding or celebration package, just the way you want it. (*Minimum hire amount of £150 required for Individual Item Hire).
Option 2 - The All-inclusive PACKAGE
Alternatively we offer a fabulous all-inclusive styling package. You get to choose as many items as you like from our extensive stock library, with everything you need to make your celebration picture-perfect for one totally AMAZING price! Click here to find out more!
Option 3 - Dry Hire
Prefer to set-up and pack down yourself? No problem! We also offer a 'dry-hire' option giving you the choice to collect, set-up and return items to our base near Dorchester at a discounted rate.
Option 4 - using your own
wedding decorations & props
We are often asked if we can set-up and pack-down your own wedding decor alongside items you have hired from us. The answer is YES! This is something we can definitely help with. As every wedding is totally unique, we are very happy to provide personal quotes for this service. Just send us a little message to discuss your requirements.

We have lots (and lots!) of experience of styling a wide range of venues across Dorset, Somerset & Hampshire including stately homes, castles, marquees, teepees, barns, orchards, churches, village halls, hotels, sports-halls, public houses and a multitude of amazing private venues too!
We are delighted to be recommended suppliers for some truly amazing venues including Abbotsbury Weddings, The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay, Kingston Maurward Weddings, The Orangery Suite, Stockbridge Farm Barn, The Crown Hotel Blandford, The Manor Hotel Yeovil and Dorset Museum.
Wherever you are holding your special day, we promise to liaise with you and your chosen venue every step of the way, to make sure that everything is beautifully styled and set-up perfectly, just the way you want it.
Delivery, set-up & pack down are included as standard*when you choose to to hire with us, leaving you free to enjoy every last minute of your wedding celebrations. *Delivery is free within a 25 mile radius of Dorchester DT1. We are very happy to deliver further afield for a small mileage supplement.

Personal Wedding Styling Consultations & Support
Whether you have a clear idea of the direction you would like styling to take, or are simply unsure of where to start with planning, we promise to be on-hand whenever you need us throughout your wedding journey. Together, we will go through all of your ideas to help you work out exactly what your vision is. Then we will create the perfect, bespoke styling plan to give you the decor of your dreams!
We take great pride in the relationships we build with our lovely couples - after all, every wedding is totally unique and we want to make sure we get everything absolutely perfect, just for you! It's really important to us to provide a first-class personal service, making wedding planning as stress-free and as easy as possible.
We are delighted to offer support by email, telephone and Zoom, with one-to-one wedding styling consultations at your venue to help you decide which of our wonderful props and decorations work best for you. Venue visits are free within 25miles of Dorchester (DT1) and we are very happy to travel further afield to meet you for a small mileage supplement. No request is too small and we are always very happy to help.
In the Autumn & Spring, you may also find us attending several wonderful wedding fairs, or styling venue open days, and we would love to see you on the day! Follow us on Facebook or Instagram @theweddinglibrarydorset, to keep up-to-date with events.
